Instrumental Lessons Workshop / Group Lessons
Clarinet and Saxophone For the last two years Ruth Anne has been developing different ensemble
workshops that explore the possibility of group improvisation and group
composition. This mainly explores ideas from non-western music such as Hindustani and certain aspects from western contemporary improvisation.
Ruth Anne has been teaching the clarinet and saxophone for over 10 years and as well as working privately has taught for a number of different organisation, including North Yorkshire, Grammar School at Leeds and Skipton Music center.
She follows a number of different syllabus including ABRSM and Guildhall and trinity.
Piano and theory
Ruth Anne is also a competent piano player and has played piano in a number of ensembles. She follows the ABRSM piano and theory syllabus and will confidently teach up to grade 5.
